【 ピノキオ　その１ 】


「どうしてこんな事に…」
ジェペットおじいさんは
クジラのおなかの中で
しょんぼりと ひざを抱えこみました
「嘘をつくことは いけないことですよ」
とうとう女神様はおこって
ピノキオの鼻に魔法をかけました
嘘を一つ言うたびに
ピノキオの鼻は
みるみるグングン伸びてゆきました

"I wonder what brought me to this."
Old Geppetto held his knees in his arms dejectedly
and thought in a big whale’s stomach
"It’s not good to tell a lie!"
Finally the fairy cast a spell
on Pinocchio’s nose in anger
Whenever Pinocchio told a lie
his nose grew longer and longer in an instant
