「おじいさーん！」
とうとうハイジは　アルプスの山々に囲まれた
もみの木の下の 大好きな家へ 帰ってきたのです
帽子を飛ばしたハイジは 足元の小石につまずいて
すぐに　おじいさんの胸に飛び込みます
大きな犬のヨーゼフも　こちら側から
ハイジめがけて駆けていきます
山で手を振っているのはペーター
アルプスの山々は　雪で真っ白でした

“Grandfather!”
Finally, she’s come back to her favorite place
the house under the fir tree surrounded by mountains
The wind blows her hat off
She trips over a stone
and soon jumps into Grandpa’s arms
A big dog runs to Heidi in the foreground
The boy waving his hands is Peter
The Alps are so white
all covered with snow
