【 魔王 】


「お父さん！ 魔王がぼくをよんでるよ！」
魔王は大きな口をあけて
木の影から男の子に呼びかけます
「さあ、ぼうや、こっちへおいで」
でも、お父さんには聞こえません
「風で 木が鳴っているだけだよ」
病気の息子を気遣いながら
お父さんは 街の明かりを目指して
馬を風のように 駆りました
けれども …

“Father! The king of the elves is calling me!”
Erlking calls to the little boy
opening his big mouth from the shadow of a tree
“Come on little boy! Come over here!”
But father doesn’t hear it
“That’s only the sound of trees blowing in the breeze”
Hurried, father spurred his horse like the wind
toward the town lights
But it was too late
